February 22, 2011 - Off We go again.
This blog will probably cover several trips. We start the first one tomorrow headed to Cape Canaveral to watch STS-133, Space Shuttle Discovery lift off on its last voyage. Hope to get some good video and to post it. Then some camping in the Everglades and on to Key West with Mrs. Beyer. The old Subaru will then have been as far north as you can drive in the U.S. as well as farthest point south.
No Springer Spaniel companion this time, but hopefully some good pics anyway. After this Florida trip, I will pick up again in May or June and do another trip north into Canada camping in some other bug-infested semi-frozen tundra-type place. I just have not figured out where yet. More to come.
